Posters
The Numenta HTM Workshop will have wall space available for posters, so please feel free to design and present a poster at the HTM Workshop. Just let us know.
What is a poster?
A poster is a large document (42 x 52) that can communicate your research, project, ideas, etc. It is typically composed of a short title, an overview of your topic, and an idea of your approach and results so far. Put anything that you feel will help you communicate your topic with or without you being there. Posters should not have to be manned or presented in order for the reader to understand. It is also nice to have some pre-printed business cards or flyers for people to take away, especially if you want help from others. Otherwise, how will they remember to get in touch with you?
How do I design a poster?
Although some people spend a lot of time and money on creating a poster, it is not necessary (or even ideal) to have it professionally printed. The goal is to present your thoughts in a way that people can understand within about 10 minutes.
The maximum dimensions for the poster are 42 inches by 52 inches.

When are the posters available?
The posters will be set up on Monday, June 23rd, before the reception, and will be on display through the end of the Numenta HTM Workshop. If you are interested in talking to people about the posters, it is recommended that you stand near yours during the key times, such as during the reception, and coffee breaks.
Can I present my poster to the entire workshop?
We will be hosting a limited number of Lightning Talks, which is an excellent way for you to present your poster.
